A new band I discovered
Sounds a bit like riding a merry-go-round

While walking through the rain and the snow
adn theres nowhere to go
and you’re looking for the answers in her eyes
you think you’re gonna break-up
and she says she wants to make-up
This is a childhood song for me
I love the background singers especially in “and you’re looking for the answer in eyes”
man I love this song so much
“The things we do for love”
It reminds me of a rainy day in Lancelin when I rode home from school.
I was twelve I think
scared that the lightning would get a power pole and electricute me
I sped up at every electric pole
Maggi two minute noodles and Red Dwarf
cushion fortresses and Harry Potter books
and lots and lots of Milo.

I love this band
Just discovered them
They use rich harmonies, subtle drum beats and a lot of ‘ooo’s and ‘aaaah’s
anyway, you can listen to them on the hype machine:

I discovered them on audio muffin

New Empire of the Sun CD
oh I’m so so so happy
finally, they have a cd out.
I couldn’t think of a better collaboration
better than brown sugar and lemon
better than orange and blue
better than sour cream and sweet chili sauce
better than john Lennon and Yoko Ono
Better than bogans and flannels
oh my goodness. Luke Steele’s voice is so good with PNAU
Other songs by Empire of the Sun are:
‘Half Mast’
‘We are the People’
Also, before empire of the sun, Luke Steele was already doing this little ditty with the PNAU boys: With you Forever, thats what got me hooked.

good study music is my Baroque playlist
Komm, Jesu, komm! BWV 229- J.S Bach (who else?!)
Also, not so good study music:
Mystery Jets- Two Doors Down
happy (fake) 80’s synth yacht rock
it has sax
yeah
http://hypem.com/track/608300/Mystery+Jets-Two+Doors+Down
also new Bloc Party music- Mercury
they’re starting to sound a bit 90’s rave but for some reason i love it even more
Sparkadia
i know it’s old and over played now, but i still love ‘too much to do’ and ‘jealousy’
The White Rabbits- The Plot
another song over-played but i still love it.
Jenny Wilson- Let My shoes lead me forward, make me feel like i’m in a movie. Try to walk to the beat.
new Holly Throsby- A Heart divided
all good music
